These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of solisacademyofaesthetics.com and the programs, digital content, appointments, and services offered by Solis Academy of Aesthetics (“Solis Academy,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website, creating an account, booking a service, or purchasing a program, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Refund & Cancellation Policy.
You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and complete any required purchase or enrollment on your behalf. You agree to provide accurate, current information and to keep account credentials secure.
Solis Academy is an independent education and professional-development provider. It is not an accredited college or state-approved esthetics school and does not award academic degrees or state licenses. State board preparation is supplemental and does not replace required schooling, training hours, applications, fees, examinations, or other licensing requirements.
We aim to provide accurate, practical preparation, but laws, rules, exam outlines, and licensing requirements may change. You are responsible for verifying current requirements with the appropriate licensing authority. We do not guarantee exam eligibility, a passing score, licensure, employment, income, clientele, or business results. Results vary according to prior training, participation, effort, implementation, and other factors.
Prices, features, access periods, and availability are shown at checkout and may change prospectively. The terms displayed and accepted at the time of purchase control that transaction.
If you select a payment plan, you authorize each scheduled charge and agree to pay the full stated balance. A missed or declined installment may result in suspended access until the account is brought current. Suspending access does not by itself cancel the remaining balance. Contact us promptly if a payment issue occurs.
Access is issued only to the enrolled purchaser and may not be shared, sold, transferred, or used to provide unauthorized group instruction. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate access for nonpayment, credential sharing, misuse, harassment, infringement, fraud, or a material violation of these Terms.
The website and all Solis course content—including videos, recordings, lessons, slides, workbooks, questions, graphics, templates, downloads, branding, and methods—are owned by or licensed to Solis Academy and are protected by intellectual-property law. Your purchase grants a limited, personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable license to use the materials for your own education during the stated access period.
You may not copy, record, reproduce, upload, publish, sell, license, distribute, teach from, create derivative products from, or share our materials without prior written permission.
You agree to communicate respectfully and not disrupt programs, misuse community spaces, harass others, submit unlawful content, attempt unauthorized access, or interfere with the website or learning platform. We may remove content or restrict participation when reasonably necessary to protect students, staff, systems, or intellectual property.
Tutoring, coaching, consultations, and live sessions are subject to availability and any scheduling terms shown when booking. Late arrival may reduce session time. Missed appointments and late cancellations are handled under the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
We may use or link to third-party services for website hosting, learning delivery, booking, payment, email, or social media. We are not responsible for third-party content, terms, privacy practices, outages, or acts beyond our reasonable control.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website, programs, and services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim warranties not expressly stated, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Solis Academy will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, opportunities, or business. Our total liability arising from a paid program or service will not exceed the amount you paid Solis Academy for the specific program or service giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply where prohibited by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California, unless applicable law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, the parties agree to make a good-faith attempt to resolve the issue by written notice and direct discussion.
We may update these Terms prospectively. The current version and effective date will appear on the website. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
